During a seminar conducted at Sneharshmi Private School No. 285 and Thakor Private School No. 286, managed by the City Primary Education Committee in Surat, the Amroli Police team educated 250 students from classes 1 and 2 on important helpline numbers. The children were provided with information about various helplines, including the 1098 helpline for children in need. To help them easily remember the child helpline number, the students were also given packets containing pens, pencils, and scales.
The seminar focused on crucial topics such as ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’, self-defense, cybercrime, and the importance of seeking help from helplines like 181 and Sakhi One Stop. The dedicated Amroli team guided the young students, ensuring they were equipped with knowledge and skills to protect themselves and stay safe.
Additionally, the students were encouraged to strike a balance between technology use and other activities. They were advised to limit phone usage and channel their energy towards extracurricular pursuits such as sports and reading, fostering a well-rounded development.
The efforts of the She team from Amroli Police in educating and empowering these young students are truly praiseworthy, as they contribute to creating a safer environment for children and promoting their overall well-being.
