Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal inspected Dabhoi Community Health Center on Wednesday about the services of Covid Hospital including Oxygen Bed. This facility is being implemented on war footing and will be operational soon.
The Collector reviewed the facility in detail and gave necessary guidance to hasten the work. Giving details she said that Oxygen pipeline was laid for the first time in a Community Health Center in Dabhoi along with arrangement for supply of jumbo cylinder. A third-party audit of the oxygen pipeline and structure was conducted to ensure safety.
Training is provided after appointment of doctors and para medical staff. Necessary medical equipments were allotted to the community health center and bio-medical waste management has been arranged.
Arrangement of fire fighter and fire extinguisher under the ancillary facility of fire fighting and appointment of District Supply Officer as Nodal Officer for District Level Coordination and Deputy Collector Stamp Duty for operation for smooth functioning.
Shailesh Mehta, Dabhoi MLA and the office bearers have been commended for their continuous coordination and cooperation for smooth functioning by the district collector.
She appealed to the people of the taluka to strictly follow the Covid guidelines like wearing masks and maintain social distancing. She also requested the elderly, pregnant women and children not to go out unnecessarily from home.
