Covid patients count in hospitals reducing in Vadodara

Today, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao visited Gotri and SSG Hospitals. After reviewing the situation, he informed that compared to last month the situation has normalized. As per the information given by him, currently, there are only 100 patients in Gotri and about 55 patients in SSG Hospital.

Today after 6 months, the total number of patients admitted across all Government and Private Hospitals in Vadodara was below 1,000. He further added that these numbers were 999 at 4.45 pm today. It had gone above 1,000 on the 7th of July and had consistently remained above 1,000 since then.

Dr. Rao also had meetings with the Collector, DDO, CDHO, and District Epidemic Officer regarding preparation for COVID vaccination in rural areas of the district. They have done detailed micro-planning and will be undertaking a dry run tomorrow to ascertain preparedness.
