CREDAI, HIHED, BAI, GCA, ACE called for a one-day symbolic strike

CREDAI Vadodara, Gujarat, HIHED Credai, BAI, GCA, ACE, and others called for a one-day symbolic strike in Gujarat in protest against the rising prices of steel, cement blocks, pavers, bricks, sanitaryware items. All the sites will be closed on 12th February all across Gujarat.

Cement and steel manufacturing companies have raised the prices of steel, cement blocks, pavers, bricks, sanitaryware items have also gone up sharply. Due to this, the cost of construction has gone up and ultimately has increased the rates of the houses.

Builders all over the country strongly opposed this as the price hike will increase the price of the house too by about 50%.

Protesting the decision, Credai Vadodara, Gujarat, HIHED Credai, BAI, GCA, ACE, and others called for a one-day symbolic strike in Gujarat in protest against the rising prices of steel, cement blocks, pavers, bricks, sanitaryware items. All the sites will be closed on 12th February all across Gujarat.

Banners and hoardings protesting against this price hike will be put up at every construction site on Friday and work on offices and projects will be kept completely closed. Later a memorandum will be given to the Collector by the various associations.
