Physical and mental strength are the keys to keep up with the fight against Coronavirus. As the fight with the virus continues, people are now indulging in various sports activities to keep themselves fit and healthy.
A cricket kit distribution program was organized at the grounds in the Subhanpura area. Jai Sainath Education and Charitable Trust and Rajesh Ayre, former Councilor in Vadodara distributed tennis ball cricket kits to the youth in his area.
Former Indian Cricketer, Kiran More was also present at the event and handed over the sports kit to the youths. Nearly 7,000 youths registered for the tennis ball cricket which will inspire 70,000 and help in building a sports culture in the area.
Rajesh Ayre said that the main aim is to increase the immunity of the youths and make them more active in sports. He welcomed everyone present there in the noble cause and also thanked the Corporation for providing the ground for sports activities. Former RSP Corporators Purnimaben Ayre and Hemlataben Gore were present at the event too. The youths of the area thanked Rajesh Ayre and his team for distributing the cricket kits.
The event was held in compliance with all the rules and regulations regarding the COVID-19.
