Hiral Shah’s wife was admitted in Samras, Covid-dedicated hospital. On Saturday she called him up and informed him about the non availability of water. He enquired regarding the same at the hospital.
He alleged that he received a call from the hospital to manage for a ventilator as his wife’s oxygen level had decreased. He requested the doctor to arrange for a ventilator, which was made available shortly. But the husband alleged that there was no stretcher available so he along with his friend lifted his wife.
He said that he received a call from the hospital regarding his wife’s death. He alleged that medi-claim documents were not returned by the authorities. They don’t have stretchers to carry the ventilator and other facilities. He lost his wife and prayed that no one should face such problem. He requested the government to provide facilities to doctors. The government is also responsible for his wife’s death. If she would have received the stretcher on time, then there was hope that she would have survived.
