Defense minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman was in Vadodara today on the occasion of BJP Foundation Day.
Sitharaman addressed the press conference. She stressed the importance of this election because while the 2014 election was important for electing a good government and letting go of a corrupt government, the 2019 election is important because it is important to elect the right government for continuing with the progress India has made. She said that the country is safe in Modi’s hands.
She also talked about the progress Vadodara had made thanks to Ranjan Bhatt. Vadodara has achieved many milestones and will continue to do so if Ranjan Bhatt is elected into power.
She talked about the Pulwama airstrikes and the Balakot retaliation. She said she would not even talk about touching the possibility of even going to war with Pakistan since the Balakot airstrikes.
On the question of the culture of intolerance being propagated by the government, she pointed out how this question only comes into being before the elections.
One more important topic touched upon was about how the whole of the parliament unanimously wants Jammu and Kashmir to be a part of Indian territory this is a joint resolution.
