Dengue death toll in Vadodara rises to 5 in just 2 days (unregistered)

Dengue fever is spreading in Vadodara like wild fire with an addition of 143 positive cases in a span of just 6 days.

According to the records, 112 positive cases of dengue were registered in the first 10 days of November.

However, with the exponential rise in the viral disease, it is crucial to take preventive steps to avoid it from spreading further-
1. Remove water from coolers and other small containers at least once a week. Avoid water stagnancy and ensure improved water storage.
2. Wear long-sleeved clothes while going outdoors.
3. Use insect repellents (with at least 10% DEET) and mosquito nets to avoid being bitten.
4. Cover water containers tightly.
5. Ensure proper waste disposal.
