The Navratri festival has started from Saturday 17th October and devotees flocked to the famous Shri Tulja Bhavani Mataji at Ranu village in Padra taluka of Vadodara which opened for devotees from early morning.
Navratri is the time to worship the nine forms of divine power. This time due to the transition of Coronavirus the godess will not be worshipped with the popular garba songs. A fair is also held on the eighth day of Navratri. But, this year due to Corona pandemic there is no such big celebrations.
Mahant Kavindragiriji said, “The Navratri Festival will be celebrated from 17-10-2020 to 25-10-20 at this historic Tulja Bhavani Mataji Temple”. Ghatsthapan was performed on Saturday 17-10-20 at 8:30 am at the temple, Lalita Panchami will be on Wednesday 21-10-2020 and Durgashtami will be celebrated on Friday 23-10-2020 along with Chandiyag. The devotees will offer coconuts at 4pm in the evening. Dussehra will be celebrated on Sunday 25-10-2020 and mahaprasad has not been planned in view of the current Corona pandemic.
“Mataji’s Darshan and Aarti Time will be from 6 am to 8 pm and temple will also be open in the afternoon. Mataji’s Aarti time will be at 6 in the morning and evening”, said Mahant Kavindragiriji of the temple.
He further added that all the safety measures like sanitise centres, temperature guns and on entry without masks are strictly being followed inside the temple premises.
