This brilliant young Cadet was invited by the HQ DG NCC to Delhi to receive an award from the highest dignitary at the HQ.
In addition to his efforts in the NCC, Dheeraj has also been a committed member and one of the many beneficiaries of the Parul University’s Armed Forces Motivational Cell, a cell that has been dedicated to, nurturing and shaping the young armed forces aspirants of PU towards a career in the armed forces.

This program seeks to help members to appreciate and gain an understanding of the socio-economic and cultural realities of different countries. The HQ DG NCC selected 20 deserving cadets from India who were given this lifetime opportunity of displaying India’s armed force excellence on an international level.
This recent award adds to the many efforts which Dheeraj has made throughout his academic journeys, such as the 2021 Republic Day celebrations, where he went forward to represent Parul University at the parade. He was also part of the ‘All India NCC Boys Marching Contingent’ at Rajpath Parade and Gujarat Marching Contingent for PM’s rally. Singh also had the honor of being awarded by the Honourable Prime Minister with the PM’s baton and medal during NCC Republic Day Camp 2021 at Delhi. During his expedition in Bangladesh, he was also able to visit the nations’ landmarks such as Bangladeshi National War Memorial, the Bangladeshi National Museum, Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters, and Air Force Headquarters. These tours were structured to give the students knowledge of the brave stories of the troops who played a significant part in the nations’ freedom.
