The celebration of India’s 74th Independence Day will be organized on a district level on Saturday, August, 15 at the Western Railway Police Parade Ground behind Kothi Kuber Bhavan in Vadodara City.
The Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogeshbhai Patel will do the flag hoisting at 9 a.m. On this occasion, the Corona Warriors who have been invited will be honored by him. For this honor, four health workers including the Administrative Nodal Officer for the COVID facility at Sayaji Hospital, Dr. O.B. Belim have been selected by the health department. Responsibilities have been assigned to various departments under the guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal.
All the planning for this program is being done by keeping in mind the coronavirus guidelines. The program will be attended by MP, Mayor, MLAs, District Panchayat Chairperson, Office Bearers, leaders, Senior Police, and Administrative Officials and Citizens.
The program will conclude with the Minister and dignitaries planting trees at the premises.
All the government and private institutions, educational institutes, mandals have been requested to fix their time after 9 am if they are organizing flag-hoisting, as 9 am is the scheduled time for the district celebration.
