Famous ‘Shukravari’ to shrink in size !

VMSS had done marking for Shukravari Bazzar from Petrol Pump to Police Grounds but with time market has gone double the space given and encroached on both sides of the road starting from Bhutdizapa till Karelibugh. VMSS has received several complaints from the nearby residents about the traffic chaos and nuisance created every Friday, so yesterday encroachment team from VMSS visited the market and found that market has gone much beyond the earmarked space…

Officials have given a stern warning to the vendors to not go beyond the given limits, and if they fail to do so.. VMSS may also close down the market.

Shukravari market is in existence since decades and believed to be since Sayajirao rule. The market is known for selling used and refurbished items at very cheaper rates and also for antique collectors.
