Female Rangoli artists create a remarkable Chandrayaan-3 Rangoli in Surat

In a remarkable display of artistry and creativity, seven female rangoli artists from Surat have collaborated to create a magnificent rangoli depicting Chandrayaan 3. This awe-inspiring artwork, spanning seven feet, showcases the intricate details of the lunar mission. After 22 hours of dedicated work, the rangoli stands as a testament to the artists’ skill and passion for their craft.

These Rangoli artists, renowned for their expertise in this traditional Indian art form, joined forces to undertake the project. With great precision, they meticulously crafted a stunning representation of Chandrayaan 3 on the canvas. Every intricate detail, from the spacecraft itself to the lunar surface, has been captured with accuracy.

The art itself

The resulting Rangoli was an impressive sight to behold; spanning an area of 7 feet with intricate patterns and vibrant colours. The depiction of Chandrayaan 3, India’s lunar mission, is the centerpiece of the rangoli. The spacecraft, with its scientific instruments and distinctive features, is intricately designed, showcasing the artists’ attention to detail.

Chandrayaan 3, India’s ambitious lunar mission, has captured the nation’s imagination and garnered international recognition. Through this rangoli, the artists pay homage to the country’s scientific achievements and the remarkable strides taken in space exploration. It serves as a visual tribute to the ingenuity and technological advancements that drive India’s space program.

 

Chandrayaan-3, the upcoming lunar mission, is scheduled for launch at 2:35 PM on July 14. The mission aims to achieve a soft landing on the lunar surface, anticipated to occur on August 23 or 24. S Somanath, the Chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), recently revealed that Chandrayaan-3 has been meticulously designed with a failure-based approach.
