A 52 year old man from Vadodara who was tested positive and admitted to SSG hospital on 19th March died this morning. He and his wife travelled to Srilanka recently and total four of his family are also tested positive. Other family members are undergoing treatment. This takes the death toll in Gujarat to 7 and total 87 positive cases.
There are no new positive cases in Vadodara since last 5 days. Today in the press conference Principal Secretary, Health Department, Gujarat Govt said “No positive case of #coronavirus detected since Wednesday evening. Total cases remain at 87 in the state But, unfortunately one of the patients died in Vadodara who was infected with the virus”
