According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) of Gujarat, a curfew will be imposed in all 29 cities of Gujarat from 8 pm to 6 am.
Earlier the curfew was in 20 cities. Now, the curfew will be imposed in – Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Botad, Viramgam, Chhota Udepur, Veraval.
- All restaurants to be closed. Only take-aways will be allowed.
- Malls, shopping complexes, cinema halls, auditoriums, gyms, swimming pools, water parks, public gardens, salons, spas, and other amusement activities to remain closed in all 29 cities.
- All APMC will be closed, except APMC associated with fruits and vegetables.
- Public access to religious places across state to be closed.
- Only administrators and priests to perform puja.
- Public transport to continue with 50% capacity in the state.
- Maximum 50 people at weddings and 20 at funerals to be allowed.
- Industries, manufacturing units, factories, and construction activities to continue in the 29 cities.
- Medical and paramedical services to remain same.
- All essential services will continue in the 6 major cities.
- Groceries, vegetables and fruit shops, medical stores, dairies, and bakeries will be allowed to operate.
