Garage Mechanic Ramps BMW into a moving bike, 3 injured

Hit and run by BMW X5 damages to 3 two-wheelers and one car in Alkapuri

 

A quiet lane in the area of Alkapuri this afternoon witnessed an accident where a speeding BMW X5 injured two people. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, the speeding car also collided and damaged 3 two-wheelers and one car in the accident. 

According to sources, the road near MK High School in Alkapuri is a single lane road, which means that vehicles passing by need to drive at a moderately slow speed. 

But this afternoon at 3:30, the BMW X5 came speeding in and crashed into 3 two-wheelers and one car, injuring one youth and a woman on the spot. One moped slid under the car and the BMW also collided with a pole. 

As per sources Car was given at nearby garage for repairs, but the worker at garage took car for a ride. As the crowd gathered near the site of the accident, the driver slipped away from the scene. The timely arrival of the 108 ambulance ensured that the two injured were taken to Sayaji Hospital.
