GPCC President, Hardik Patel takes a dig at the government

Hardik Patel is Gujarat State Congress’s Acting President. Today, he visited Vadodara to meet the displaced residents of Sanjaynagar. He started his visit with the famous Kashivishwanath Mahadev Temple at noon.

Hardik Patel said that the Congress party has always been sincere and that BJP has brought corruption in its thirty years of rule. The BJP believes in silent corruption. He said that the Congress party by studying the problems of 18 thousand villages in Gujarat is working on a model of solution-based politics for the problems instead of protesting.

He attacked the BJP by saying that the government of Gujarat has failed miserably in its 30 years of rule. There’s not a single good school, college or hospital that has been built during these 30 years. By taking a dig on BJP he said that there would have been no encounter of Vikas Dubey of Uttar Pradesh if he would have been admitted to Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital. He would have died there.

Patel also said that those Congress MLAs who joined BJP have their selfish interests and it would not make any difference to the party. Congress will win any election from the next by-election.

Today during his visit, he faced the protest from a youth waving a black flag. The Congress supporters beat the youth and handed him over to the police.

Later on, he met the displaced people of Sanjaynagar and discussed details with them. He said Congress was with them before and will be there in the days to come.
