Gujarat Police personnel win 5 medals in the 42nd Master National Athletic Championship being held in Chennai

 

 

The 42nd Master National Athletic Championship is currently being held in Chennai. In which athletes from 28 states of the country enthusiastically participated in various sports competitions. The army and police personnel also displayed their sportsmanship. Police Officer Arun Mishra said that the Gujarat team won the runners-up trophy by securing second place in march past.

In addition, Head Constable Sherjaman Baloch finished second in the 400m race and won an individual silver medal. While in the 4/400 meter team relay race, the Gujarat team came second and won a silver medal. Among the members of the winning team are A.S.I. Salim Kulad, Head Constable Deepak Kumar Jabbarsingh Rajput, Hasan Ibrahim Kulad, and Police Constable Nishant Shivaji Cellar. Participating in this national-level competition. The soldiers’ winning medals and what skills they imbibe in training to succeed.

Arun Mishra finished sixth in the shot put even though he had to leave the competition after injuring his leg in the middle of the 200/400-meter race. The team in charge Arun Mishra said that the police department has to perform24-hour duties and make time in between and make the best use of the facilities available, police athletes strive to perform at their best and perform as best as possible. We are confident that with a few more features and conveniences, we can achieve better.
