Hail humanity! Nashta Gruh for poor opened in Rajkot

Nashta Gruh (Snack House) for poor and middle class people has been opened under the support of Geeta Charitable Trust and Sanjeevani Hospital Charitable Trust of Rajkot. Laborers going to their work in the morning as well as poor people can have a hearty breakfast here for just five rupees. The Trust is involved in many activities but for some time now, breakfast, afternoon and evening meals service has been started.

From morning seven to evening ten, hot breakfast is served here at a token rate of just five rupees. In which jalebis, vanela ganthiya, fried chillies, sambharo and tea are served. More than 400 people come to have breakfast here every day. This snack house has become a blessing for the daily wage labourers.

Not only breakfast, but Geeta Charitable Trust and Sanjeevani Hospital Charitable Trust will now provide Gujarati thali here in the afternoon for just 50 rupees. The thali consists of a dessert, two sabjis, dal, rice, roti and sambharo. While kadhi and khichdi will be served for dinner. Over 250 tiffins are also sent to the poor. Trustees and philanthropist Jayesh Bhalara said that the plan to open such centres at different places in Rajkot in the coming days is also being considered by the trust.
