Honeytrap Heist : Dhoraji’s Gripping Honeytrap Horror

–An Article by Poojan Patel

The quietude of Dhoraji was disrupted when malevolent darkness crept into the heart of the town, leaving its residents in a state of collective unease. A bone-chilling crime, orchestrated with a diabolical precision that could rival the darkest corners of human imagination, has sent shockwaves through the once-peaceful streets.

An unsuspecting youth residing in Jamkandorna Panthak was ensnared in the sinister tendrils of a honeytrap, a malevolent ploy that culminated in the merciless extraction of a staggering four lakhs. As if ripped from the pages of a crime novel, this gripping narrative involves not one, but three ruthlessly cunning gang members, including two women, who seamlessly wove their deceit by feigning matrimonial ties.

The nightmare began with the poor young man facing threats of a made-up rape case, forcing him to hand over three lakhs. But the criminals weren’t satisfied and demanded an even larger sum – a horrifying 16 lakhs. They even went so far as to create a fake video showing the alleged killing of two women to terrify their victim even more. Another one lakh was cruelly taken from him, pushing him to the edge.

The crescendo of this nightmarish symphony was orchestrated with a staged video, purportedly depicting the ghastly demise of two women at the hands of their captors. It was against this backdrop of psychological torment that another Rs.1 lakh was cruelly extracted, pushing the beleaguered farmer youth to the brink of desperation.

Thankfully, the young man found the strength to share his terrible experience with his uncle and friends. A 40-year-old farmer from Jamkandorna Panthak bravely went to the Dhoraji City Police and filed a complaint, hoping to bring these criminals to justice.

In a surprising turn, Jahid Hamid Pathan from Jetpur took action, catching one of the culprits. The girl, who used different names like Nurma, Kari, and Papudi Iqbal Rafai, claimed to be the niece of Kari from Keshod and lived in the worrying Kumbharwada of Dhoraji.

The police have officially registered the case, but a haunting question remains: Are there more victims of these heartless criminals? The authorities are working hard to find out, trying to get the accused and, most importantly, recover the four lakhs taken in this terrifying honeytrap.
