On Monday, the Hoonf Charitable Trust celebrated Diwali with girls from Vadodara’s underprivileged and lower-middle-class households by cutting the cake and distributing clothes and school bags. The goal is to provide the youngsters with a day of celebration that they have been denied owing to their families’ financial situation.
Every year, Gulab Rajput and his daughter Nishita Rajput spend a day at Kamatibaug with the girls. They celebrate Diwali by cutting cakes and giving their loved ones garments of their choice.
Due to covid, there was no celebration, but they are celebrating with the girls this year.
“It is our responsibility to give back to society, and we have been striving for years to bring smiles to these children’s faces. We have planned a special day for them, where they will socialize with other kids. We begin by cutting the cake and then giving them their choice of clothing.” Nishita Rajput expressed her thoughts on the subject.
The goal is to bring smiles to the faces of youngsters who are restrained from having memorable moments because of their families’ financial situation. “At the very least, we can spend a day with them and bring them joy,” Gulab Rajput remarked. Both father and daughter have been paying the girls’ expenses for many years and will continue their good deeds with the support of volunteers.
