No Covid test or quarantine rules for fully vaccinated international travelers coming to India: They will have to upload their COVID-19 vaccination certificates on the government’s Air Suvidha portal aimed at digitally documenting relevant details of international passengers at the country’s entry points.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare released detailed guidelines for international arrivals at airports on February 10. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has directed health officials and district magistrates to ensure the Centre’s revised COVID-19 guidelines for international arrivals are followed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
According to the guidelines, all the passengers will have to show a self-declaration form on arrival at the airport. The passengers who are showing symptoms will be given due treatment and will be asked for quarantine as per the recent quarantine guidelines.
Due to the increase in cases in the second wave, covid tests were mandatory, looking forward to the severity of the third wave, the guidelines have been revised. This is a huge relief for incoming international passengers and hassle-free traveling.
