Internet Explorer’s final demise

The Internet Explorer browser will be officially and permanently disabled from versions of Windows 10 on February 14, 2023. Internet Explorer will be replaced by the updated version of Microsoft Edge. Even if they want to, Internet Explorer users will be unable to open the application from now on. The devices will be directed from Internet Explorer to the updated version of Microsoft Edge. Today is the last day for Internet Explorer users to say goodbye.

The Internet Explorer was first released on August 16, 1995. These 27 years were filled with lots of memories. For boomers and millennials, Internet Explorer was their gateway to exploring the world through the internet. The users of Internet Explorer will miss the advertisement pop-ups and lack of malware protection, but still agree that it was a golden era. But due to irrelevance and prolonged software incapability, Internet Explorer was disabled and replaced with the updated version of Microsoft Edge. But to make the transition smooth, the icon of Internet Explorer will be seen for another few months, but on clicking, it will open Microsoft Edge.

The updated version of Microsoft Edge will be rolled out starting today, February 14, 2023. Only last year did Microsoft discontinue support for Internet Explorer. But still, many businesses and organizations were relying on Internet Explorer to browse the Internet.

Rest in peace, Internet Explorer.

You will be missed, even in the high-tech world.
