ISKCON cancels Janmashtami celebrations, but will be open for devotees for temple visit

Vadodara city has been witnessing more than 100 cases for quite some time. While the administration is taking every measure to make people follow the government decided COVID guidelines to curb the spread of the virus. The government has also canceled the celebration of the festivals in the month of August as a precautionary measure. The temple administration is also following the guidelines and is not arranging any big celebrations.

Janmashtami is just two days away and the renowned ISKCON Temple in Vadodara has canceled its big celebration this year owing to the serious situation of Coronavirus. On the day of Janmashtami, the temple will be open for devotees to visit with masks and maintaining social distance. Every preventive measure is being taken to stop the spread of the infection. Arrangements have been made to sanitize the tunnels amongst other measures for the safety of the devotees as well as the visit to the temple.
