Yesterday female hippopotamus Dimpy and Chunnu welcomed the birth of their adorable baby hippo. Images published by the Zoo department of a newborn is the cutest thing you will see on the internet today.
Baby is premature and will be separated from the Male Hippo as last year Chunnu killed baby hippo birth given by Dipmy.
A temporary enclosure will be made for baby hippo and staff will keep vigilance to ensure Male Hippo doesn’t harm baby hippo. As it was late evening and dark it was uncertain to determine the sex of the baby.
