Karuna Ambulance 1962: An Angel in Disguise

Karuna Ambulance 1962  serves as the saving grace for more than 31,495 birds and animals. Their services cater to the injuries of birds and animals injured during festivals, road accidents, diseases, and more. According to the state government, their main goal through such initiatives was the preservation of cattle wealth to promote the White revolution. 

Karuna Ambulance services complete five years of successfully and swiftly treating and tending to injured birds and animals across the state. GVK EMRI’s Karuna Ambulance 1962 served as an extremely crucial component for the health of cattle across the urban areas of Vadodara, launched by former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani for 26 districts of Gujarat. 

 In the five successful years of its service, it managed to treat and tend to more than 31, 595 birds and animals suffering from certain disabilities and/or deformities, injuries, accidents, and diseases. 

The city of Vadodara was allotted two Karuna Ambulances by the state government. According to reports from the last five years, 25,499 dogs, 2,623 cows, 2,566 cats, 755 pigeons, 7 peacocks, and many other animals and birds were treated across Urban Vadodara. 

According to Kauna Ambulance 1962 coordinator Mr. Jaimin Dave, in the last five years, they dealt with more than 2000 animals injured in road accidents, more than 7000 suffering from various other injuries, and more across Vadodara.
