Khaswadi Cemetery deteriorating in Vadodara

The condition of Khaswadi cemetery, a model in Vadodara city cemeteries, has become pitiable. The benches and fans placed inside the office have broken because of the absence of maintenance. While the fountain adorning the cemetery is filled with dirt. Shiv Sena city unit has indicated the truth of the crematorium and raised anger against the organization.
Social Activist and Shiv Sena representative Tejas Brahmbhatt shows the crumbling state of the graveyard and blamed the Seva Sadan authorities for neglect. All the structures are in very bad condition and require to be fixed.
The absence of maintenance prompts animals like dogs and pigs to freely meander inside. The seats and the fans on the rooftop are broken and should be replaced.
A fountain was set to beautify the graveyard, which is at present loaded up with dirt. Tejas Brahmbhatt blamed the corporation and stated, a smart city is nowhere to be seen and the condition of the Khaswadi cemetery is the present example. The crematorium was developed at an expense of lakhs by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation and considered a model of Vadodara. However, the condition has weakened because of the absence of care.
