Know Your Candidate: Rivaba Jadeja from Jamnagar North

The ruling party BJP announced their candidates for upcoming state assembly elections, many people were saddened, but many people got high hopes to become the potential policy-maker of this industrial state-GUJARAT

One of them is the celebrity wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja. He shined through his skillful cricket skills, but his wife, surprisingly not through his popularity!

Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Ravindra Jadeja secured the opportunity to contest the election from Jamnagar North for the assembly elections. Born in Rajkot, the daughter of Hardev Singh Solanki was a businessman, and her mother Prafullaba Solanki was an employee of Indian Railways. She pursued her mechanical engineering degree from Rajkot and joined BJP in 2019. She comes from a political background as she is the niece of Congress politician Hari Singh Solanki.

Rivaba and Ravindra Jadeja tied knot on 2016. After marriage, she changed her name from Riva to Rivaba Jadeja and has a daughter.

But all these are her personal details, the intriguing story is her compassionate behaviour which has won the hearts of many people making her eligible to contest the election for the legislative assembly. Rivaba has been a member of Karni Sena, an organization that raises issues of the Rajput community. In 2018, she was made the head of Karni Sena’s women’s unit.

She was a defense aspirant and want to join forces, she also appeared for Air Force, and was also preparing for civil service examinations. She aspired to make a personal contribution to the country. She got married and later established Shree Matru Shakti Charitable Trust.

Shree Matru Shakti Charitable Trust, with the motive of empowering women of Jamnagar, gifts furniture, clothes, and necessities of life to the needy women of the society on the occasion of their wedding. Trustee Rivaba Jadeja said that the trust has paid off its debt to society by providing things for needy sisters and children. We can say with great compassion she is ready to uphold the great responsibility of her constituency.

With additional information, in 2020, she donated her eyes by extending help to the visually impaired. We can say that she is someone who is leading with her example. 

She was in controversy during an accident that took place with the policeman, the policeman rudely answered her, and action was taken against the policeman.
