The city police commissioner and dignitaries express their profound condolences to the departed, as well as the children who aspire to be future soldiers of the nation.
“Late Bipin Rawatji and the demise of Army officers are a big shock to the country, his life will be a source of inspiration for the youth of the country for centuries”, remarks City Police Commissioner.
Under the guidance of City Police Commissioner Dr. Shamsher Singh and Institute Chairman Moulin Vaishnav, scout and uniformed NCC heroes in front of the image on the occasion of Victory Day organized by Vadodara Branch of Vadodara District India Scout and Guide Association at Jeevan Bharti School.
The city Police Commissioner expressed his sentiments about the untimely death of the country’s first CDS and Jambaz Military Commander in an unfortunate event as a shock to the country, but that his successful life will inspire the country’s youth to live and commit for generations. He went on to say that this commemoration is particularly poignant because it marks the day of Bangladesh’s victory over Pakistan and the birth of the country.
He urged the youth community to have big aspirations and achieve them. He quoted examples of heroes like Bhagat Singh, who was martyred for the country because he had big dreams, and athletes who achieved their goal of winning a medal for the country at the Olympics as sources of inspiration. Dr. Singh appealed to the youth to stay away from narcotics and assist the city police in rescuing the individuals who get entrapped in its grips.
Mr. Moulin Vaishnav expressed the hope that the martyrdom of late Bipin Rawat and army leaders would motivate the youth to join the uniformed forces, saying that Field Marshal General Manek Shaw and the first CDS late Bipin Rawatji would be remembered for decades. The goal is to instill patriotism and discipline in pupils at a young age while helping them develop as responsible citizens.
During his introduction of the program, Union District Secretary Varun Desai, stated that it involves approximately 500 students from ten schools across the city. District Commissioner Alexander oversaw the program’s execution. Former Mayor Dr. Jatin Modi, Chairman of the Retired Gazetted Police Officers Board Kishore Singh Chauhan, Mrs. Ami Rawat, Prashant Patel, President of the Jeevan Bharti Vidyalaya Board of Directors Narendra Patel, Pankaj Jani of Shreyas Education Trust, Trustee of the Vadodara Traffic Brigade Suryakant Ambi, were present at the occasion.
