Lone women senior citizens in radar of the thieves

Vadodara PCB team has caught one accused for robbing a gold chain from an old lady and injuring her after identifying himself as GEB officer. Items worth 1.81 lakhs were seized from him by the team and they are further investigating him for more details.

A while back a robbery incident happened in Sharda society on Warasia ring road where, in the house of a senior citizen a person entered pretending him to be a GEB officer and needed to check the electric points inside the house. He choked the lady and after snatching her gold chain, ran away from there. An offense regarding this was registered at the police station.

Meanwhile, the detection team of the PCB on patrolling, received an information about the accused passing from Sangam Crossing towards Kishanwadi Gadheda market on his bike no.

Based on that the team kept a watch and arrested the person. The Police seized bike and chain from his possession and handed him over to Warasia police station for further investigation.

The accused Mohammad Mustafa alias Khansaheb Anwarkhan Pathan is originally from Jamnagar and presently resides at Prudent hotel in Sayajigunj Vadodara. He also has four past track records which are registered in Sayajigunj and JP road police stations. His main motto was to search for lonely senior women citizen of the city and enter their house and then rob them.
