The dancing queen of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit arrived at Pavagadh yesterday for film shooting. Her starrer “Mere Paas Maa Hai ” left thousands of devotees stranded as the road from Manchi to the Ropeway was blocked and a chaotic situation ensued yesterday. Madhuri Dixit will be shooting in Pavagadh for 3 days.
The ropeway from Pavagadh to Manchi had been cordoned off and bouncers had been placed. This led to an argument between the pilgrims and bouncers and the pilgrims made a great fuss.
The road was closed without any prior notice. There was no advance information by the administration or the temple trust that the ropeway will be closed for shooting purposes. Due to this devotees waited for hours for darshan. This led to great angst amongst the pilgrims.
