Man from Mumbai hanged himself in a Vadodara hotel

A middle-aged man who came from Mumbai for work hanged himself under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in the Makarpura area of Vadodara city. Following the incident, Makarpura police reached the spot, took possession of the body, and conducted further investigation.

According to police sources, Jatinbhai Bijalbhai Gohil, 56, from Mumbai, had been in Vadodara for the past two or three days. He was staying in a room at Hotel Royal Wings in Makarpura. Meanwhile, on Monday, when it was time for his checkout, the hotel staff men reached the room to inform him. Although the room was closed they knocked on the door but got no answer.

Shortly afterward, the hotel staff once again reached out to Jatinbhai to report the checkout. But they did not get any answer and finally, the door of the room was opened with the master key. As soon as the door was opened, 56-year-old Jatinbhai Gohil was found hanging with a red cloth.

The hotel staff informed Makarpura police about the matter and they reached the spot. The team searched but did not find any belongings in the room. Only the red cloth was found, which he used, to hang himself. Following the incident, the police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The family was informed about the whole matter.
