Man hacks his wife to death

A casual labourer from city’s Nawayard clobbered his wife to death after a domestic brawl. He later fled from the city on Friday morning.
Police have launched a manhunt to catch hold of the accused, Faiyaz Afzal Khan who may have fled for Nagpur in Maharashtra.
As per the cops, he used to stay with his wife Ayesha Khan in Nagpur and often used to fight with her and beat her up.
Ayesha’s brother, Ayaaz Pathan told Faiyaz that the duo must settle in Vadodara along with their three children. But he continued with the domestic violence on her. Both of them used to sleep at Ayaaz’s home.
Ayaaz rushed to the room only to find her sister lying in the pool of blood. He rushed her to the SSG Hospital where doctors declared her dead. She had received severe head injuries as he had attacked her with a spade.
The police are trying to catch hold of absconding Faiyaz and also trying to ascertain the reason behind the crime.
