As part of the campaign, today a meeting was held at the BJP office with the cattle-keepers to seek their support and cooperation in the campaign. “It’s a quick decision and lots of things like the place to be assigned for the animals, managing their fodder and food that needs to be addressed. We have sought time and requested another meeting with our requirements in written to them. We are hopeful for a positive resolution in this matter, ” said one of the cattle owners attend the meeting.

Mayor Keyur Rokadia said that the prime focus is on making the city cattle menace free.  “We had a detailed meeting with the cattle keepers and they have raised some genuine issues like the place, veterinary doctors, and food for the animals. They sought time and we will meet again two days later with some of the leaders to discuss the issues they raised and try to find out the possible solutions. One thing is sure now the cattle keepers can keep their animals inside their premises and also complete the tagging in one month time. We are moving strongly towards a cattle menace free Vadodara with the support of everyone,” said Rokadia.
