Rajesh Singh Bawri, a 52-year-old resident of Dholkui near Makarpura Road Marutidham, was driving his car at 8 pm on Friday. He had informed his family that he would return after paying his nephew, Mahendrasingh, amount Rs. 10,000. When he failed to return, his family started searching for him. Meanwhile, his car was found abandoned near Soma Talav Old Jakatnaka on Saturday. The family went to Wadi Police Station to report, but they were sent to Panigate, where the case was registered.
Rajesh Singh’s brother said that his brother has been missing for six days and he was wearing 8-10 lakhs of gold on his body and have been kidnapped. He alleged that the police is not investigating the case properly. The CCTV footage also showed Rajesh Singh passing over the road. The family is said to have approached the Commissioner with a demand for a proper investigation.
The family requested the police to trace Rajesh Singh before any mishap.
