17 Mobile Veterinary Dispensaries (MVDs) have been set up in every ten villages in the Vadodara district in collaboration with GVK EMRI and State Animal Husbandry Department. It helps the cattle keepers to get treatment for their animals at home.
So far a total of 62,209 animals have been treated by the mobile veterinary clinic in the Vadodara district. Of these, 58,944 animals were treated during schedule and 3,265 are treated in an emergency, said the project in charge Jaimil Dave.
There are a total of 17 mobile veterinary hospitals functioning in the Vadodara district. Of these, a total of 62,209 animals have been treated talukas. In Vadodara taluka, 5,152 in Nandesari, 5,621 in Sindhrot, 4,173 in Ramnath, 4,288 in Muwal of Padra taluka, 3,911 in Saraswani, 2,812 in Kanbha of Karjan taluka, 4,746 in Karamdi, 3,094 in Anandi of Shinor, 5,428 in Vaniyad, 2,684 in Dabhoi’s Karnali, 2,635 in Simlia, 3,015 in Waghodia’s Amreshwar, 2,785 in Rajpura, 2,959 in Vemar Savli, 3,667 Champaner, 2,496 in Valavav in Desar taluka and 2,753 in Varsada.
