Vadodara District Health department under the guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal and District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri have found encouraging results in the plan to speeding up the vaccination. Under this campaign, a total of 1,03,350 citizens in the Vadodara district have been vaccinated against corona so far.
Informing that the work of vaccinating against corona is going on in full swing at more than 200 centers in the rural areas of Vadodara District, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Surendra Jain said, that these systems are benefiting the elders of 60+ years of age and people with dangerous diseases between the ages of 45 and 59 years. He added that in the Vadodara district, the first dose of the corona vaccine has been given to a total of 1,03,350 citizens, including 20,475 co-morbid people aged 45 to 59 years and 82875 people above 60 years of age.
Dr. Jain said that under the vaccination campaign in Vadodara district, a total of 1,03,350 citizens including 11,569 in Dabhoi taluka, 4704 in Desar, 12,670 in Karjan, 19241 in Padra, 9554 in Savli, 6066 in Shinor, 29098 in Vadodara, and 10,448 in Waghodia taluka have been vaccinated.
Vaccine recipients are being given the necessary medication to be taken in case of minor or major side effects such as fever or body aches. So far almost no incidents of side effects have been reported.
