Magan Bhai Desai, born on October 11, 1889, in Gujarat’s Kheda district, was a renowned Gandhian philosopher, education advocate, and Gujarati language writer. After independence, Magan Bhai Desai did not lag behind in criticizing the policies of the Congress government on any occasion. He was born on 11 October 1889 in Kheda district, Gujarat.

 

 

 

Born on October 11, 1902, Jayaprakash Narayan, also revered as Lok Nayak, was a distinguished statesman, social reformer, freedom fighter, and eloquent orator in India. Opting for Bihar Vidyapeeth for his advanced studies, he took a stand against British-style schools in protest of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

His legacy extends beyond academia, as he actively participated in the freedom movement, earning him the moniker “Lok Nayak” for his influential role. Jayaprakash Narayan staunchly opposed the Indira Gandhi government’s immoral and undemocratic methods, going so far as to call for her resignation. His life’s work reflects a commitment to democratic values, social reform, and the unwavering pursuit of justice. Commemorating his birth on October 11th, we reflect on the enduring impact of this multifaceted leader.

 

Chandikadas Amritrao Deshmukh, a stalwart member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and a renowned social worker, died on February 27, 2010. The efforts Nanaji Deshmukh made to promote rural people’s self-sufficiency, education, and health earned him the Padma Vibhushan, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor. The founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Nanaji, had given up politics at the age of 60. He devoted the remainder of his life to the welfare of the Chitrakoot villages and created a fresh account of their growth. Posthumously, Nanaji Deshmukh received the Bharat Ratna, the nation’s highest honor. He was born in Maharashtra on October 11th, 1916.
