Nidhi Chavda, a second-year M.A. Economics student at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) of Baroda, has been chosen for an internship program at the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The competitive selection process involved screening, interviews, and a final merit list to offer internships ranging from one to three months.
Nidhi Chavda successfully underwent the rigorous selection process and secured a two-month internship at the Ministry of External Affairs. Upon completion, she will be required to submit a comprehensive report to the ministry. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vijay Kumar Srivastava congratulated Nidhi Chavda and encouraged her to share her experiences with fellow students upon her return. He emphasized the importance of mentoring and urged her to pass on her knowledge to others, just as the teachers mentored her.
Expressing her gratitude, Nidhi Chavda extended her thanks to the MSU teachers for their guidance, which helped her secure this opportunity to work in a significant government ministry. The selected interns will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000 and have their airfare from Vadodara to Delhi and back covered by the Ministry of External Affairs.
