On January 12, the country commemorates National Youth Day.

In 1984, the Indian government named the day National Youth Day to honor and preerve his principles, teachings, and accomplishments, and to urge young people to follow in his footsteps. This year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the four-day National Youth Festival in Hubbali, Karnataka, today. “Viksit Yuva – Viksit Bharat” is the theme of this event. This event will be held at Hubballi-Dharwad from the 12th to the 16th of January. On January 12, National Youth Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of India’s eminent philosopher and thinker Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda’s ideas and lessons are honored on this day throughout the country. This day is celebrated every year, and schools and colleges hold a range of events, including seminars, student celebrations, workshops, Yogasanas, essay contests, and readings. Swami Vivekanand was born on January 12, 1863, in Kolkata. Throughout his entire existence, the preacher and social activist worked as a social reformer, philosopher, writer, and religious educator. His ideas and beliefs have had a tremendous effect on India’s efforts to eradicate child marriage and illiteracy. This year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the four-day National Youth Festival in Hubballi, Karnataka, today. “Viksit Yuva – Viksit Bharat” is the theme of this event. Between January 12 and January 16, the event will be held at Hubballi-Dharwad. The Celebration will feature the Youth Forum, which will feature parliamentary session discussions on five themes derived from G20 and Y20 events, namely the Future of Work, Industry, Innovation, and Global Warming and Environmental Conservation; Peacemaking and Rehabilitation; Youth in Democracy and Governance; and Healthcare and Well-Being. This festival will also feature several competitive and non-competitive events. Among the competing events will be folk dances and music. Yogathon will be one of the non-competitive activities. There will also be eight indigenous sporting and combat sports performances.. Food Festival, Young Artist Camp, adventurous sports activities, and exceptional Know Your Army, Navy, and Air Force camps are among the other attractions.
