No Time for Diwali Decor:  Last Minute Diwali Decor Ideas

Running to meet the deadlines of the office before the office closes for Diwali, you definitely had no choice and did get time to decorate your house for Diwali.

Here are a few ideas, which are quick to go and can make your house Diwali-ready, whether you are living in a bachelor/bachelorette pad or a couple living away from the family.

Lit it up: Yup, that’s what you read. Fairy lights are a saviour when it comes to decoration, be it a birthday party, a festival, or just a casual friend’s sleepover. The trending golden fairy lights can be lit your house inside out and give you a festive vibe.

Flower it up: Flowers are the basic and very traditional style used for decorating any Indian festival and occasion. You can order some traditional artificial flower decor online and you can use it to decorate your home, outdoors or indoors, or just make rangoli out of it.

Multi-coloured Candles: Candles are instant decoration. You can just order good multi-coloured candles and use them for Diwali decorations. The best options are tealight floating candles and keeping them in a bowl with water and flower petals, giving you exclusive Diwali vibes, if you are hosting a small Diwali party. This decoration will make your house decor elegant, classy, and soothing.

Paper-lanterns or streamers: The multi-purpose streamers are available online, just order them and throw them all over the place (not literally) but those are pretty and will give you a special look if you are a small abode, and help you decorate your interiors. Paper lanterns of course have Diwali essence. Diwali is incomplete without them.

Rangoli: There is no need to give a description of the relevance of Diwali and Rangoli. If you are creative enough you don’t need to worry, just buy some colours from the local vendors and put out your creative side for display outside your main door or balcony. Or you can make rangoli from flowers.
