Now you will have to pay an entry fee at Nimeta Gardens

Nimeta gardens are now going to start charging an entry fee for the gardens. This has been started from 1st April after the budget approval.

While regular park goers will only be charged Rs 10 per person, bringing a camera will cost you Rs 50 and shooting with a video camera will cost you Rs 100. If you are planning to do a pre-wedding photo shoot or any other commercial photoshoot within the park premises, you will be charged Rs 1000.

Parking fees for two-wheelers are Rs 10, while parking fees for cars/jeeps are Rs 20.

Kamatibaug has also started charging commercial photographers who are conducting pre-wedding shoots, birthday shoots and modeling shoots are the gardens. The charge for any type of commercial photography is Rs 100. The fee may increase in the future too. Here too, the fees have started after the budget approval.

We don’t know if this will decrease footfall in the gardens and how much revenue will be generated from these entry fees.
