Stories from the Kingdoms of yore

As the legends go, King Chanda, driven by the immense need for a water reservoir, turned to black magic and sought the aid of a djinn to construct the grand Baori. The price for this mystical construction, however, was steep; as the djinn demanded the ruler’s kingdom.  A saint however, intervened in the king’s dilemma, imprisoning the djinn within the depths of Chand Baori. 

The echo of this age-old pact resonates through the corridors, creating an aura of wonder, fear and trepidation.

A Paranormal investigator (if you believe in one, that is)  Jay Alani, delved into the depths of the Chand Baori and had reported ‘unusual sounds’, adding a layer of mystery to the already enigmatic site.  The stories of hauntings persist, with locals recounting eerie experiences and whispers of unseen entities within the stepwell’s intricate maze.
