OTP Fraud: many such victims in Vadodara This is one of such incident.

Today Ayush Vaishnav received a call in evening and a person on other side of call introduced him as an employee of Bank Of Baroda. The called told Ayush that his account will get closed as he has not responded to mails & SMSs sent to him by the bank.
Ayush said that he will go the nearest bank to update the UPI, on which caller said he need to do it online.

Caller offered help to Ayush in updating the account. An unsuspecting AAyush provided the OTP he received through SMS. But immediately after that Ayush received SMS stating that Rs4300 are transferred and his UPI pin is changed.
