Dixit Modi, an 18-year-old student of St. Joseph School has made his parents proud of his achievement.
He scored 99.68 percentile and 88 percentage. “I used to study for four to five hours in a day and also went to tuition”, said Dixit. He will join B.Com and aspires to become a Chartered Accountant.
Dixit’s father sells ‘panipuri’ and ‘bhelpuri’ at Chhani area while his mother is a homemaker. The parents don’t want their sons to be dependent on the father’s uncertain income. Even when the family faced a financial crisis, they never let it affect their children’s education as they want a bright future for him.
Dixit’s older brother, Chirag Modi, is 20 years old and is in the final year of Computer Engineering at Maharaja Sayajirao University’s Faculty of Technology and Engineering. He had ranked 5th in Vadodara from science stream.
While Dixit’s results are truly inspiring he concludes by saying that one can fetch good marks if they pay attention in school and tuition properly and revise everything before the end of the day.
