The universally known secret of every college student, they are always looking for a break from the very beginning of the academic year. What can be possibly better than a grand national-level college fest, right? Yes, it is time for Paramarsh. The much awaited non-technical college fest weekend is finally here.
They say “bigger the university, magnificent the celebrations”, Paramarsh is hosted by the budding engineers of MS University’s Faculty of Technology and Engineering, Vadodara, for the 13th consecutive year. It all began in the early years of the millennium by a group of students with a common vision to overcome the flaws of much needed skills i.e., communication skills, confidence, spontaneous thinking, working under pressure, and so forth. Over the years, Paramarsh has humbly grown to become the ultimate students’ fiesta with over 200 elite colleges participating from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
This year Paramarsh brings ‘Biz-O’ Neur- entrepreneurial epicentre’ the verdict, ‘I din noe that! -The quizzeria’, the one of the kind ‘Talk-Show’ with Charu Sharma, Dr. Anil Kane, Nitin Gupta, and Dr. Madhu Mehta, where four titans of proven excellence come together. The other category will have ‘Your Say – the literati glitterati’ which includes ‘The Show-down’ – a non-technical paper presentation, ‘Your say Cat-as-trophe’ – a group discussion, ‘The Lexicons’ – war of words, and ‘Block-n-Tackle’ – a debate.
No music fanatic in Vadodara would make any plans for this Sunday, as Paramarsh has a reputation of hosting tremendous concerts after all the groundbreaking intellectual events. This time Paramarsh is all set to ‘Think Music’ by bringing in a trio of trailblazing performances by Paradigm Shift – the progressive rock band, Aditi Singh Sharma – the electrifying playback singer and Parikrama – India’s number one rock band, all 6-strings are going to be rolled on one stage to give a spellbinding dose of multi-genre melodic entertainment.
Every year prior to the event Rain Gods never fail to shower their blessing and this year, it rained the like no tomorrow; well it didn’t affect Paramarsh, as it is all about ideas infinite.
