Paranjape Schemes has begun the second phase of “Athashri-Vadodara” in Vadodara

‘Athashri’, a place for elders to find warmth, independence, companionship, culture, celebration, and a sense of belonging in a thriving community. The senior living home project, specifically designed for seniors, attempts to meet their housing, personal, and medical needs.

On Tuesday, Paranjape Schemes Construction Ltd. (PSCL), best known for their senior living housing project ‘Athashri’, unveiled the second phase of the project, in Vadodara. The decision was made following the positive reaction to the first phase and increased demand in the senior living section of the real estate market, particularly following the epidemic. In 2016, the first phase of ‘Athashri’ -Vadodara was launched.

Paranjape Schemes has so far launched ten Athashri projects in Pune, Bengaluru, and Vadodara. In the near future, we will be focusing on additional major cities such as Ahmedabad and Surat.

“Athashri was designed to provide a dignified, hassle-free, cheerful, and comfortable essence to senior citizens in India,” said MD Shashank Paranjape.

He further stated, “Children are migrating from their hometowns to other cities in India and even beyond because of career prospects. For their senior parents who remain at home, this creates an unsafe and lonely situation. Our senior living home project is specifically designed for such seniors, and it seeks to meet their basic needs for housing, personal care, and medical care.”

A canteen with cafeteria, guest rooms, shuttle bus service, doctor’s clinic area, clubhouse with swimming pool and gymnasium, beautifully landscaped garden, and library are among the world-class amenities and services available to the older adults.

The resident manager, own ambulance, tie-ups with surrounding hospitals, round-the-clock security with CCTV cameras, housekeeping, domestic help, and a state-of-the-art clubhouse with a swimming pool, gym, and physiotherapy area are all available. The entire facility is wheelchair accessible and elderly-friendly.

Numerous recreational places, indoor activities, as well as essentials such as a reverse osmosis plant for water distribution, water treatment plants, stretcher lifts, and generator backup for communal areas, are all available.

Most importantly, all internal specifications within the apartments are precisely planned, including grab bars for corridors and toilets, a panic/emergency alarm bell facility, a shower seat in the bathing area, and non-skid flooring throughout.
