Access to health services within the rural communities across the nation and the world at large has been a challenge and to solve this challenge, Utkarsh Welfare Foundation, partnered with one of the city’s multispeciality hospitals, Parul Sevashram Hospitals in a bid to provide effective solutions. Utkarsh Welfare Foundation has been working tirelessly to bridge this gap in Healthcare across the country and Parul Sevashram Hospital has also maintained a significant relationship with rural communities for delivering quality healthcare.
The two organizations recently held a transfer ceremony where Utkarsh Foundation provided health-related equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, radiant warmers, oxygen cylinders, high-flow water cannula, etc. As a major highlight to this initiative, an ICU on wheels was also donated by the Foundation to Parul Sevashram Hospital as a way of furthering healthcare coverage.
This equipment will ensure that people from surrounding communities receive quality treatment and care. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests such as Vikas Bhanpurkar the University’s President, Dr. Devanshu Patel, Vice President, Dr. Parul Patel, Medical Director, Dr. Geetika Madan Patel, Mr. Trilok Nath Shukla, Head of Micro Bank, Utkarsh Small Finance Bank and Mr. Umanath Mishra CEO, Utkarsh Welfare Foundation amongst others. The contribution made by the foundation to Parul University received great appreciation. The service of healthcare workers of Parul Sevashram Hospital during the corona period has been commendable, and this health-related initiative by the Corporate Social Responsibility workers of Utkarsh Welfare Foundation will go a long way in making such efforts more possible in these challenging times. This 750 bedded hospital has been actively engaging in various initiatives to improve the health services of all communities through holistic healthcare services.
