Paver block cave-in at Bajwada Khatri Pol, no casualty reported

The paver block outside an old house in Bajwada Khatri Pol caved in today in the early morning hours. A team of fire brigade rushed to the spot after the locals called them. The landlord who lives nearby also rushed to the place after the incident.

Jawan Jalamsinh from the fire brigade team said that they received the message and found the drainage line passing from there. No casualties were reported and the road has been closed as a precautionary measure. The ward office was also informed about the incident and action has been initiated in the matter.

As per the landlord, the reason for the cave-in could have been due to a Vav under the house. However since no one resided inside the house, a major tragedy was averted.

The landlord has been instructed by the ward office to demolish the building.
