Locals near Shastri Bridge in Vadodara city has submitted an application to the Municipal Commissioner demanding to start a primary health center due to Coronavirus scare.
As the whole world is fighting Coronavirus, it is necessary to build a primary health center for people’s safety as the center will be beneficial for them. As a rule, there should be one primary health center for a population of 50 thousand.
Shastri Bridge has a population of more than 20,000 people living in the area. Earlier, there was a primary health center at Shastri Bridge but it was closed and shifted to the Navayard area. So now, locals have to go to Navayard to take their medicine. Seeing the new center started in Amarpur town, locals demanded to start a primary health center in the Shastri Bridge area too.
With increasing cases in Vadodara city, people are now worried more about their health. People have to go to the primary health center at Navayard for the treatment of various ailments which also include COVID testing.
A large number of people from the area went to the office of Khanderao Market and presented their application following the guideline of Covid-19. They requested to start the primary health center in the Shastri Bridge area at the earliest.
